The Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies course is a 10-day course that aims to provide an overview of societies in conflict, crisis resolution techniques and peacebuilding mechanisms.
The training program is delivered in the framework of the CEDS-UNESCO partnership. It aims to promote diplomatic and cultural tools that enable decision-makers to contribute to peace-building. The proliferation of crises and the escalation of many conflicts, the different types of civil wars require knowledge of conceptual tools and good practices. Policy makers must learn to analyze these phenomena, understand them and influence their evolution. The experts associated with the program offer an examination of political and diplomatic mechanisms such as transitional justice or mediation techniques.
