As a first step in their partnership, UNITAR and CEDS have scheduled for 16-18 December 2024, a common three-day United Nations model negotiation exercise designed for selected CEDS auditors and UNITAR trainees. This exercise is expected to offer them the opportunity to exploit the various theories to the practice of multilateral diplomacy. The participants are to be confronted to the member states’ foreign policies and to the arenas of the United Nations Security Council and General Assembly.
