The course of the PhD in International Politics and Diplomacy

Key elements of the schedule

The PhD program is scheduled on a three years basis

Year 1 is mostly dedicated to courses, lectures and workshops scheduled on 5 intensive weeks (1 week each two months)

Participants are evaluated in each course. In addition, they are evaluated by a final oral exam. Those who pass the first year exams have two years to work on a doctoral thesis under the supervision of a professor appointed by the CEDS.

Years 2 and 3 are mostly dedicated to research with some workshops

The Thesis must be submitted and defended before an academic jury.

Prerequisites for the PhD in International Politics and Diplomacy

The candidate must hold a Master 2 or equivalent degree and have at least 4 years of professional experience in the sector.

To enter the PhD program, the auditor must put together an application file.
